Be careful when you make room reservation from online travel agents

When you make room reservation from online travel agents, first of all check whether there are any hidden charges that you need to pay.


Sometimes they will show you the total room charge only in bold and the other charges in normal text. 


For example the charges would be listed like this


Total Room Charges : USD 200
Extra Bed : USD 70


When it is listed like above you might tend to think that you need to pay only 200 USD and the extra bed charges is included in the total room charges. 


Once you have fill in your details and confirm the reservation using your credit card then only the online travel agent site will show the final amount charged to the credit.


I myself made this silly mistake :)  Ended paying extra 70 USD.  Whereas there was another online travel agent selling the same thing for much less. 


Luckily managed to cancel the reservation and got the refund back.
